π¨ Step 1: Vision board
Your Vision board captures your visual identity - the colors, moods, and aesthetics that define your art.
To complete this step:
Click Vision in the left sidebar (under Mythos)
Click Add Images and upload at least 5 images
Click Analyze to let Apollo process your visual direction
Use images that represent your sound, your vibe, your world. Album covers you love, photos that capture your energy, colors that feel like your music.
β¨ Steps 2-4: Identity
Identity is the heart of who you are as an artist. Apollo uses this to understand your "why" - not just what you make, but why you make it.
To complete these steps:
Click Identity in the left sidebar
Answer at least one question in each section:
Essence - Why you make music, what emotions drive you
Journey - Where you've been, where you're going
Influence - What shapes your sound and perspective
You don't need to answer every question. Start with the ones that feel natural.
π οΈ Steps 5-7: Context
Context is the practical layer - how you work, what tools you use, and how you like to create content.
To complete these steps:
Click Context in the left sidebar
Answer at least one question in each area:
Basics - How you'd describe your project, your language
Creative Tools & Equipment - What you use to make music
Content Preferences - How you like to show up online
Work Rhythms - When and how you work best
Add a sample of your writing - captions, bios, or lyrics you've written. This helps Apollo match your voice.
Connect your TikTok account under Connected Platforms. This lets Apollo see what content resonates with your audience.
Don't have TikTok? You can still complete setup - connecting a platform helps but isn't required to start using Apollo.
π΅ Step 8: Create your first project
Projects are where your releases live - singles, EPs, albums. Each one gets its own mood board and release plan.
To complete this step:
Click Music in the left sidebar (under Workflow)
Click Add New Single or Add New Project
Give it a name (can be a working title)
Add basic details - you can fill in more later
Once you have a project, Apollo can help you plan your release timeline and content strategy.
β You're set up
When you see 8/8 Complete in the Setup Progress tracker, you're ready to go. Apollo now has the context to give you personalized recommendations.
