How Orphiq uses your social data

When you connect TikTok (or Instagram when available), Orphiq gets read-only access to your public content and engagement metrics. We can see your posts and how they perform - but we can't post, message, or change anything on your behalf.

โšก Quick summary

What we can see: Your public posts, engagement metrics, follower counts, posting times

What we do with it: Help Apollo give you better content and timing recommendations

What we can't do: Post, comment, message, edit, or take any action on your accounts

What we don't do: Sell your data, share it with third parties, or use it to train AI models

๐Ÿ“Š What Orphiq can see

When you connect TikTok, Orphiq can access:

  • Your public video posts

  • View counts, likes, comments, shares

  • Follower and following counts

  • When your posts were published

  • Basic profile information (name, bio, profile picture)

This is the same information anyone can see by visiting your public profile - we just pull it into Orphiq so Apollo can analyze it for you.

๐Ÿ”ฎ What Apollo does with it

Apollo uses your social data to:

  • Identify what's working - Which posts get the most engagement? What themes resonate?

  • Suggest posting times - When is your audience most active?

  • Inform content strategy - What should you post more of? Less of?

  • Connect to releases - How can you leverage your social presence for your next project?

The goal is to help you make smarter decisions about content - not to automate or replace your creative choices.

๐Ÿšซ What Orphiq cannot do

Orphiq requests read-only access. This means we literally cannot:

  • Post content to your accounts

  • Comment on posts (yours or anyone else's)

  • Send direct messages

  • Follow or unfollow accounts

  • Edit your profile or bio

  • Delete anything

We don't have those permissions. We didn't ask for them. Your accounts stay fully under your control.

๐Ÿ”’ Your data stays yours

We do not:

  • Sell your social data to anyone

  • Share it with third parties

  • Use it to train AI models

Your social data is used only to improve your experience inside Orphiq. That's it.

๐Ÿ”Œ Disconnecting

If you change your mind, you can disconnect anytime:

  1. Go to Context โ†’ Connected Platforms

  2. Click Disconnect next to the platform

  3. Confirm

Orphiq will stop receiving new data from that platform. Historical insights already generated will remain in your workspace, but no new data will be pulled.

๐Ÿ’ก Pro Tip

The more Apollo knows about what's working for you on social, the better it can help you plan content around your releases. Connect early, and let Apollo start learning your patterns.
