Completing your Mythos (Identity, Context, Vision)

Mythos is your artistic DNA inside Orphiq. It's how Apollo learns who you are - not just what you do, but why you do it and how you work. The more complete your Mythos, the more personalized Apollo's recommendations become.

🎨 Vision

What it is: A mood board that captures your visual identity - colors, moods, aesthetics, the feeling of your art.

Where to find it: Mythos β†’ Vision

How to complete it:

  1. Upload at least 5 images that represent your creative direction

  2. Click Analyze to let Apollo process them

What to upload:

  • Any images you love

  • Photos that capture your energy

  • Color palettes, textures, fashion

  • Reference screenshots from films or videos that inspire you

  • Anything that feels like your sound looks

  • Use the generate button to bring to life anything you can imagine

Why it matters: Apollo uses your Vision analysis to suggest visual content ideas, ensure your releases feel cohesive, and understand your aesthetic even when you're not sure how to describe it.

✨ Identity

What it is: The deeper questions about who you are as an artist - your "why," your journey, your influences.

Where to find it: Mythos β†’ Identity

How to complete it:

Answer at least one question in each section:

  • Essence - Why you make music, what emotions drive you

  • Journey - Where you've been, where you're going

  • Influence - What shapes your sound and perspective

Tips for answering:

  • Write in your own words like you're talking to a friend, not filling out a form

  • There are no wrong answers - Apollo adapts to however you express yourself

  • You don't have to answer every question. Start with what resonates.

  • Do not copy paste from any LLM, not even Apollo. The key is for Apollo to understand your words in your voice. This is not the moment to be perfect, it's the moment to be real.

Why it matters: Identity helps Apollo understand your creative values. When it suggests a release strategy or content angle, it draws from what you've shared here - so recommendations feel like you, not generic advice.

πŸ› οΈ Context

What it is: Practical information about how you work - your genre, tools, content preferences, schedule.

Where to find it: Mythos β†’ Context

How to complete it:

Answer at least one question in each area:

  • Basics - How you describe your project, your language(s) of expression

  • Creative Tools & Equipment - What you use to make music

  • Content Preferences - How you like to show up online

  • Work Rhythms - When and how you work best

Also:

  • Add a writing sample (captions, bios) so Apollo can match your voice

  • Connect your TikTok to give Apollo insight into what content performs for you

Why it matters: Context is how Apollo gives you practical, actionable advice. If it knows you hate being on camera, it won't suggest video-heavy strategies. If it knows you work best in the morning, it can plan around that.

πŸ“Š Tracking your progress

Look for the Setup Progress tracker in the bottom left of your dashboard. It shows how many of the 8 setup steps you've completed.

You don't need to finish everything in one sitting. Complete what feels natural, come back later for the rest. Apollo starts learning from whatever you've added.

πŸ”„ Updating your Mythos

Your Mythos isn't locked. As you evolve, update it:

  • Add new images to Vision and click Re-analyze

  • Revisit Identity questions as your perspective shifts

  • Update Context when your workflow or preferences change

Apollo always works with your latest information.

πŸ’‘ Pro Tip

Stuck on Identity questions? Ask Apollo: "Help me answer the question about why I make music." Apollo can interview you conversationally and help you articulate things you might struggle to write cold.
