How to edit or delete a project

Projects evolve. Sometimes you need to update details or remove a project entirely. Here's how.

✏️ Edit a project

You can update any project details at any time.

To edit:

  1. Go to Music in the left sidebar

  2. Click on the project you want to edit

  3. Make your changes in the Project Details tab

What you can edit:

  • Project title

  • Release date and time

  • Artwork

  • Project Story (concept and sound description)

  • Status (Draft, Ready, Released)

To update the mood board:

  1. Click the Mood Board tab

  2. Add or remove images

  3. Click Re-analyze to refresh Apollo's understanding

Changes save automatically. Apollo will use your updated information in future recommendations.

πŸ—‘οΈ Delete a project

Deleting permanently removes a project and everything inside it. This cannot be undone.

Before you delete, consider:

  • Is there anything in the mood board or story you want to save elsewhere?

  • Could you change the status to Draft instead of deleting?

To delete:

  1. Go to Music β†’ click on the project

  2. Click the three-dot menu (β‹―) or project settings

  3. Select Delete Project

  4. Confirm the deletion

What gets deleted:

  • The project and all its details

  • The project mood board and analysis

  • Any release timeline or content plans associated with it

This is permanent. There's no way to recover a deleted project.

πŸ”„ Alternative: Use Status instead of deleting

If you're not sure about a project, change its status instead of deleting:

  • Draft - Still working on it, not ready

  • Ready - Prepared for release

  • Released - Already out

This keeps your workspace organized without losing anything. You can always delete later if you're sure.

πŸ’‘ Pro Tip

Before deleting, screenshot or save any mood board images or Project Story text you might want to reference later. Once deleted, that content is gone.
