How to plan a release with Apollo

Set a release date, and Apollo, Orphiq's AI music strategist, suggests the tasks and plan to get there. You choose what to keep.

Written by JC Sanchez

Plan it in the Strategy tab

  1. Open the release from Music and go to Strategy.

  2. Set the release date and time.

  3. On the Tasks card, click Plan release.

  4. Apollo suggests tasks. In Review tasks, tick the ones you want and click Add selected tasks.

The Strategy tab also holds:

  • Release plan: the goal, the approach and the content to make.

  • Release checks: what to confirm before release day.

  • Pitch: click Generate pitch for a short and long pitch you can edit.

  • Budget and Artist tools, if you use them.

Or just ask

You can also plan in conversation with Apollo:

  • "I'm releasing a single on April 15. Build me a 6-week rollout."

  • "I can't start promoting for two weeks. Adjust the plan."

  • "When should I release this? I want at least six weeks to promote."

Push back and refine. Apollo keeps the release's details, so each revision builds on the last.

Better plans

The more Apollo has to work from, the better it plans: fill in the artist's Context, the release's Creative tab, and tell Apollo your limits (budget, time, what you will and won't do on camera).
